Maybe you are a Mom who still sews. What memories do you have of what you have sewn?
This Spring, my Mom went to her heavenly home. I remember her sewing clothes for me and my sister. I actually found a picture of a dress she made me when I was in Junior High-in the 1970s!
Special Memories of my Sewing Mom
I actually found a picture of my mom, taken in the 1970’s, sitting at her sewing machine! She was so pretty and LOVED sewing accessories for our home too! She challenged herself a couple of times and made drapes-that’s what I call sewing talent!

My mom, Gayle, was also a leader of our Bluebird Group and helped us to make a blanket for donation out of what I would now consider UGLY polyester fabrics! It is the thought that counts, right…?!

This quote reminds me of how much LOVE goes into Sewing: “It’s not how much we give, but how much LOVE we put into giving” MOTHER TERESA
After my mom became a grandma, the one thing she liked to make was PJs for her grandchildren! One gift my first son received was a pair of PJ’s made with smiley face fabric and a matching pillow! Such a cute idea- we still have the pillow!
