Sewing Project Shopping List for Notions

How can this Sewing Projects Shopping List save you time? Read about these experiences and understand why you’ll want a Sewing Project Shopping List too!

Just Write It Down…

Have you been shopping at fabric shops, find some fabric you absolutely love but you are not sure you want to buy it at that moment? Do you hope you’ll remember what store you saw it at and all the other fabric details, and then forget? I’ve had this same exact experience and think- I should have written the fabric information down…

Have you ran out of thread in mid-project and need to get more? You arrive at the store thinking you’ll remember the thread color simply by visual glance, only to have to take your best guess?! I’ve done this many times and end up choosing the WRONG color! I should have written the color number down…

I’ve even gone to the fabric store needing to get more of the same fabric and thought for sure I’d visually recall what the fabric looked/felt like. I should have taken a fabric swatch with me! When I got the fabric home……well… I’ll just say I should have taken the minute to come in the house and get a swatch!

Not only did I waste money because I had to re-purchase fabric again; I wasted my time because I had to drive ALL the way back to the fabric store that is 30 minutes away from me!

All of the above reasons are why I created a unique shopping list to help US paper loving people to remember WHERE to buy our ‘wish list’ fabric, provide a place for attaching fabric swatch just in case you need to buy more, and a place to write down colors of thread-(color number), types of notions used: buttons (name and size) or zipper type and length, elastic (width and type) just to name a few!

Benefit of Having a Shopping List for Notions

Having a list with all the names of your notions is awesome because if you happen to go back to the store and find out they are out of your particular notion, you can use this list info to help the store associate make an order for you, or you can go online and order from another place.

As long as you have the DETAILS, you’ll not be out of luck. All it takes is a little time to write this information on the Sewing Projects Shopping List when you first decide and/or purchase all your notions and fabric.

Keep your Fabric Store Shopping List organized with this Sewing Project Shopping List! Be prepared and have your stuff written down.

Happy Simple Sewing to You!
